Every Saturday afternoon the town I live in hosts a flea market down at the local park. Last week they had patchwork quilts for sale and I ended up buying one of them. I’ve never really liked these things, but as I was walking past one of the stands the vibrant patterns of the one that I eventually chose caught my eye. I liked all the different colors and the way they melded with one another, which is why I ended up choosing the one that I did. I’ve never been one to buy quilts before, but I ended up leaving that day with the first one that I ever purchased.
As soon as I got home I took a picture of it and posted it on my Facebook page. Within an hour my mom had seen it and commented that she liked it very much, and even asked me where I got it. I told her that I picked it up that morning at the flea market and she asked me if I bought any more. I told her that if we hurried we could probably swing by and still see if they had any discount quilts left, so she decided to swing on by and pick me up.
